Veterinarian/ Owner

Dr. Thibodeaux is the founder and owner of Four Paws Animal Hospital. She graduated from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 2002. She worked as an associate veterinarian for 2 years at Companion Animal Hospital in Athens, before pursuing her dream of opening her own practice. That dream was realized in 2005 with the help and support of her husband Jim and a lot of support from the community of Statham. The practice began providing veterinary services to the county for adopted animals in 2007 and has been an integral in providing veterinary care to some local and national rescue agencies.

Dr. Thibodeaux also breeds and shows Cavalier King Charles Spaniels under the name “Masterpiece Cavalier King Charles Spaniels”. Masterpiece kennels was founded on the premise of breeding the healthiest Cavalier King Charles Spaniels possible without sacrificing the wonderful beauty and temperament.

Dr. Thibodeaux is married to Jim Konzelman, a chemistry professor at Gainesville State College, and has three beautiful, talented and intelligent daughters who keep her on her toes. She has 8 adult Cavaliers, one mixed breed dog, 2-3 outdoor cats, two rabbits, a donkey, an alpaca, 3 ducks and 13 laying hens

I’m originally from the northeast, born and raised in New Jersey and have lived in Maine. I’m a proud mom of 3 fur babies, a Jack Russell Terrier named Pippa, a rescue mix named Chase, and a pom-chi named Benji. My entire life revolved around animals, from training and showing Quarter Horses to giving lessons to children and adults. I attended Centenary College in N.J. with a degree in Equine Studies. I’ve since down sized to working with dogs which led me to grooming now for over 20 yrs. I love making them look and feel their best! I treat them like I treat my own.. I’ve Been Living In Jackson county now for over 8yrs with my boyfriend Garry. I enjoy the mountains and anything outdoors.

Receptionist/ Veterinary Assistant

I have been working at Four Paws since September 2017. I am a receptionist and Veterinarian Assistant here at Four Paws. I hope to have my degree in Veterinary Technology in the near future. During my free time I love spending time with my two beautiful daughters, husband, family, and friends. I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels named Iris and Meredith, 2 German Shorthair Pointers (Gus and Gemma), and 2 cats (Nala and Ella). Animals have always had a special place in my heart and I love being able to help them everyday.

Hello fur friends! My name is Jessica. I am a student at Brenau University and will be graduating in May 2021 with my bachelor’s in psychology. I worked at Four Paws 4 years ago and I recently returned to my fur family after moving back to the area. I have two very fluffy black cats that I found under a shed when they were only a few days old. Although I have a passion for the mental health field, I love the opportunity working with your fluffy family members.

Veterinary Assistant

Hi, my name is Josh. I recently moved here from Maryland to attend the University of Georgia as an animal science major. I have high hopes of getting my DVM from UGA. I have owned many different types of animals including dogs, cats, fish, axolotls, hedgehogs, and currently sugar gliders. My sugar glider’s names are Lucy and Linus and they are very fun and energetic creatures. I like my Four Paws family and look forward to spending many years with them.
