Dr. Angela F. Thibodeaux and our team are committed to bringing you and your pets better health by practicing the science of Veterinary Medicine. Statham based Four Paws Animal Hospital was founded in 2005. Since then our staff has been performing veterinary medicine and compassionate animal care in the Statham area. Four Paws Animal Hospital is a full-service Animal Hospital whose mission is to provide the highest standard of quality and compassion in veterinary care for our patients and welcoming, informative, and supportive service for our clients, while maintaining a superior working environment for our employees. Four Paws Animal Hospital offers the Statham animal community daytime emergency veterinary services in addition to standard medical, surgical, and dental veterinary care. Because we have an in-house pharmacy, lab, radiology, ultrasound, ophthalmic monitoring and full service hospitalization our facility enables you to make one stop for your pet's medical care. We are open for appointments during normal business hours. Walk-ins and drop off appointments are welcome.

    Dr. Thibodeaux is the founder and owner of Four Paws Animal Hospital.  She graduated from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine with honors in 2002.  She  worked as an associate veterinarian for 2 years at Companion Animal Hospital in Athens,before pursuing her dream of opening her own practice. That dream was realized in 2005 with the help and support of her husband Jim and a lot of support from the community of Statham.   The practice began providing veterinary services to the county for adopted animals in 2007 and has been an integral in providing veterinary care to some local and national rescue agencies.  
    Dr. Thibodeaux also breeds and shows Cavalier King Charles Spaniels under the name "Masterpiece Cavalier King Charles Spaniels". Masterpiece kennels was founded on the premise of breeding the healthiest Cavalier King Charles Spaniels possible without sacrificing the wonderful beauty and temperament.
    Dr. Thibodeaux is married to  Jim Konzelman, a chemistry professor at Gainesville State College, and has three beautiful, talented and intelligent daughters who keep her on her toes.  She has 8 adult Cavaliers, one mixed breed dog, 2-3 outdoor cats, a Flemish Giant rabbit and 8 laying hens

    I was born in Reno, Nevada and raised in the US Air Force.I have lived in Reno, Minneapolis, Colorado Springs and Sacramento, California. I went to Wooster High School and the University of Nevada-Reno. I pursued a degree in Animal Health Technology at Cosumnes River College in Sacramento.  I worked in Nevada as a Licensed Veterinary Technician in a variety of practices, including wildlife rehabilitation, Wild Horse Management, Abuse Investigation and Animal Control.  I moved to Georgia in 1987 and went to work for Yerkes Primate Center as a Care Technician.  It was at Yerkes that I fell in love with the Great Apes, Gorillas, Orangutans and Chimpanzees on the ward that I was assigned to however the Nursery was the most fun.  We raised the babies that were abandoned by their mothers.  Good practice for becoming a mother!!!!  From Yerkes I went to work as a Telemarketer for a Veterinary Pharmaceutical company.  I worked in private practice locally at Dacula Animal Hospital and at Hoschton Animal Hospital.  I live in Winder with my husband Mitch Johnson who has worked for Green Pastures Farm in Hoschton.  I have a son, Jeff who is at Southern Polytechnic State University studying Civil Engineering and 2 step children, Kandy and Andy down in the Griffin area.  I am also owned by Trixie, a Dachshund, George an Afghan Hound, Texas, a Schipperke mix and Bear, an Australian Shepherd, the cats: Cindy Lou, Elliott and Goldie plus the Fish Tank, the Cockatiel, The parrotlet,  the doves and chickens. I have been at Four Paws Animal Hospital since April 29, 2011.  I love everything about this practice and feel very much at home here.  I love meeting our clients and getting to know you and your pets.  I am only a phone call away if you ever need me!!!

    I am from Loganville, GA.  I graduated from the University of Georgia with my Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in December 2010. My goal is to get into Veterinary School to pursue a degree as a mixed practice veterinarian.  I have been working at Four Paws since August 2007.  I previously worked a the UGA Dairy Farm where they breed and raise Holstein cattle.  I currently have 3 four-legged children: a Pomeranian named Precious and 2 cats, Woody and Hanson.

    I grew up in Covington, GA where I graduated from Eastside High School in 2008. I went to Valdosta State University in South Georgia for 2 years.  I am currently a student at Gainesville State College pursuing my Biology degree.  After I graduate I plan on going to Veterinary school and would like to eventually open a mixed animal practice treating both large and small animals.  I have a lab mix named Dunkin, who was rescued from the pound about two years ago.  He loves to go to the dog park and has picked up swimming now that we go to the lake together.

    Jennifer came to "help" for a day and has been here for 3 years!!!  She brings a wealth of experience from grooming and veterinary medicine.  Jennifer owned 2 Grooming shops, one in St Augustine and one in Royston.  She also has worked as a veterinary technician in Royston.  She believes in the gentlest touch for all her grooms and is loved by the pets she does.
    Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are her passion, involved in judging, breeding, raising and showing her dogs.  Jennifer is active in the national rescue for this wonderful breed.  She is always ready to talk to you about her dogs!!
